Agrimatics Libra Cart FAQ

Which mobile devices are compatible?

This system is compatible with iPhone 4S or newer, and the iPad 3 or newer, including the iPad mini. Libra is also compatible with Android devices with versions 4.3 or newer running Bluetooth Smart. The cloud service, Agrimatics Aero, is currently only compatible with the iOS devices listed above.

Does this replace my existing scale indicator?

Yes, Libra Cart connects to your grain carts load cells and uses your own compatible smartphone or tablet in place of your existing indicator. The device can be mounted directly to your grain cart or in the tractor cab, depending on your preference.

Does this system work with my existing load cells/ scales?

Yes, Libra Cart is compatible with any industry-standard load cells. Depending on the brand of your load cells, you will need to purchase a Libra Cart with either a 4-pin connector (M0011) or a 5-pin connector (M0012).

Do I need to run any cables between this device and the tractor?

No, the system is battery-operated and wireless.

How is the system powered?

The Libra Cart device operates on a 3.6V AA lithium battery. Since the design is very power efficient, we recommend replacing the battery once before each harvest. To purchase a replacement battery, contact us!


Do I need cellular coverage for this system to operate?

No, the system does NOT require cellular coverage. It will collect harvest data whether or not your mobile device is connected to the Internet. Once you do have coverage, you can then share your harvest data.

Will the Libra app operate in the background?

Yes, the app operates properly in the background, and will continue to collect harvest data. This way, you can take phone calls or use other apps with no interruption to your data. However, we recommend leaving the app in the foreground as much as possible.

Can my mobile device be connected to other Bluetooth devices, like a headset?

Yes, you can connect standard Bluetooth devices while being connected to the Libra device.

Do I need a USB driver or a printer to share data from the Libra system?

No, this system does not require a USB transfer. You can easily share and view your harvest data through email or through the optional cloud service, Agrimatics Aero, using your mobile device’s Internet connection via Wi-Fi or cellular.
