The Serial Link relays weight data from your Libra device to a remote scoreboard display on a Libra-equipped grain cart. Here’s how to unbox, migrate, pair, and install it.
Before you begin — confirm all parts
Check every item before discarding packaging (small pieces are easy to lose):
-
Serial Link box (with status light)
-
Serial Link power cable (white +, black −)
-
Serial Link data cable (to scoreboard)
-
Scoreboard display device
-
Scoreboard device data cable
1. App & cloud migration
The Serial Link only works with the new Libra Harvest app — the older Libra Cart app will not work with it.
-
Download Libra Harvest from the App Store.
-
Back up your Libra Cart data to the cloud first (see page 55 of the Libra Harvest manual for the backup steps).
-
Sign out of the cloud web page (from a desktop is recommended for a clean transfer), then sign in to the Libra Harvest app.
-
Make sure you open Libra Harvest (green icon), not the older Libra Cart icon, and confirm your weights and seasons transferred.
2. Pair & install
Pair the Serial Link to Libra Harvest, then mount the Serial Link box and route the power and data cables to the scoreboard, keeping cables clear of moving parts.
